Carlos Amorales (*1970 Mexico City) Exploring questions of concealment and identity, he works in a variety of media- from paintings and drawings to animations and performances- to explore the cultural heritage of his native Mexico. In one of his earliest performance pieces, Amorales vs. Amorales (1999), lucha libre wrestlers grapple in a ring, masks concealing their identities, as the artist directs the brutal struggle. Fascinated by horror and fantasy, Amorales also creates worlds populated with ambiguous figures, uncertain morals, and ghostly silhouettes. In Four Animations, Five Drawings, and a Plague (2008), bizarre and macabre renderings of animals and human figures are placed beside digital animations of apocalyptic landscapes, distorting reality and creating an atmosphere of unease.
Mirela Baciak (*1987, Warsaw) lives and works in Vienna, graduated from Art University in Poznan, currently studing at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna/ Master in Critical Studies. A person of mixed parentage: post modern dance and institutional theory. Her work revolves around issues of participation, escape and different forms of performativity. Maria Guggenbichler (*1985, Munich) likes to talk to strangers, and sets up situations which make it easy for strangers to talk to strangers. Her work is rooted in discourse and dedicated to self-education, taking form in events and gatherings which allow for the fluid circulation of knowledge, non-knowledge, secrets, silly jokes and slow dances between people. Guggenbichler prefers to work in self-organized and independent contexts, and thinks (produces) together with other amateurs-of-life in friendly collaborations, dialogues and networks. An ongoing collaboration is with Rosalie Schweiker – most recent: Sleep with a Curator (Kunsthalle, Zurich; The Showroom, London; Flat Time House, London); Dilemmas in Art (Control Magazine, London).

Björn Kühn and Anna Romanenko construct experiential devices and environments that intervene in the borderline qualitities of our physical horizon. Their recent project Liminal Dome (liminaldome.com) set up an under water refuge in the Baltic Sea, that could be entered through a guided dive. Currently they are artists in residence in the garden of Utopiana in Geneva (utopiana.ch) where they summon 44 spirits for a final toast on infinitude.
Anna Romanenko (*1983, Moscow) studied theatre directing at the Academy for Music and Drama in Hamburg, Germany and fine art at the Academy of Visual Arts Stuttgart.

STRFLD Simulation is a system operated by Lukas Grundmann and Max Hoppenstedt in which sounds are processed through constantly rebuild formations of machines.
Since its first prototype in 2010, STRFLD Simulation was further developed and used at media art festivals and club-music venues (transmediale, Berlin; WRO Media Art Biennale, Wroclaw; Dockville, Hamburg; about:blank, Berlin, ...).
In their performances Max Hoppenstedt and Lukas Grundmann combine experimental turntablism and Dub methodologies with synthesizers and noise generators.
Lukas Grundmann (born 1987) is a sound artist and dj. His work includes installation, performance, and composition. Currently he is doing his M.A. in Sound Studies at University of the Arts, Berlin. Max Hoppenstedt (born 1984) has written his master thesis on Micro-Politics and the Sonic, applying Deleuzian concepts to questions of control and collectivity in Sound.
